Today (yesterday to be exact) was my last paper for mid-terms and of cos, I was very elated. One more reason to be happy is I finally found some time for my used-to-be favourite hobby - reading. I could feel myself losing touch with books, the urge/drive to randomly pick up a storybook to read is long gone. Gone are the days where 3 books per week is the minimum for me. I thought it would be difficult to pick up reading all over again judging from how much I dread exam periods, but no, I was wrong. The feeling of familiarness engulfed me the moment I entered the bookstore and it dawned on me how much I missed reading, how much I missed the lazy days where cuddling up on the sofa and reading books is a heaven for me. I shall make it a point to visit the bookstore regularly! :D
And with that, I came out with one of Jodi Picoult’s latest novels - “House Rules”.
